From the intersection of FM 600 (also known as West Lake Road) and Interstate 20, go North on Highway 600 four miles. The cemetery will be on the right (east) side of the highway.
The Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene is finally completed and is fully functional. That doesn't mean there isn't still a lot of landscaping to be done to develop the entire facility but it looks great so far! So there will be no confusion, the cemetery is actually just North of the Taylor/Jones County line approximately 2 miles inside Jones County. It is, however, inside the Abilene city limits so it seems only fair to have a TSVC web page in both the TSGenWeb Jones and TXGenWeb Taylor county genealogical web sites.
