Where We Are
Deaf Smith is on the western edge of the Panhandle, next to New Mexico, between Clovis and Amarillo. The county seat,
Hereford, is located just south of the center of the southeastern quadrant of the county. The counties around us are
Quay and
Curry counties in New Mexico to the west,
Parmer and
Castro in the south,
Randall County is east of us and
Potter and
Oldham counties are north of us.
