Tate Family Photos
Pam inherited a box of old pictures belonging to her great grandparents and she wants to identify as many of the people as possible. Her g-grandparents were Annie Mae and Thomas Arthur Tate. They lived in Rising Star, Eastland, Cross Plains and, in 1936, moved to Haskell. Here are just a few of the names of the aunts, uncles and cousins of this pioneer Texas family:Pamela Eulene Tate, Evelyn Tate, Franklin Asberry Tate, Dorothy Nell Tate, Delton Ray Tate, Thomas Arthur Tate, Jossie Tyler, Will J Tyler, Mollie P Tyler, Allie Asberry Tyler, Nathan E Tyler, Jesse Andrew Tyler, Annie Mae Tyler and Melton E "Sandy" Tyler. Joe Kendrick, a one time resident of Cross Plains, Texas, recently sent me a short story about the death of young Delton Tate. There is at least one picture of Delton in this group of pictures.
